Project Benefits
"Altitude" seeks to provide an integrated tourism, leisure and retail facility of
international and regional importance.
This would significantly contribute to the attraction of Dundalk,
will be the catalyst for further investment in the region and will
assist in providing the critical mass of visitors required to ensure
that Dundalk meets its identified function as a Gateway.
The increased leisure, entertainment and sports experiences will be attractive to workers and businesses, encouraging them to move to or remain in Dundalk. Further phases of the "Altitude" development will significantly expand the impact of the development.
"Altitude" will act as an internationally significant flagship tourist attraction. During Phase 1 it is estimated that there will be some 1.15 million visits to the resort, including both locals and tourists. When fully developed and operational "Altitude" will generate an additional 5 million visits per annum, giving an aggregate total of 6.2 million visitors.
"Altitude" is a major project and will have substantial impact on incomes and employment. Phase 1 will take two years to build and will inject €84 million into the economy (direct, indirect and induced impacts). Future phase are expected to take a further four years to build. The entire project will inject over €400 million into the economy.

cleaning and maintenance services, transportation services, etc.
